Frequently Asked Questions 

1. Do you take mail-in alterations?

We currently do not take mail-in alterations. But you can custom order clothing to lengthen or shorten clothing. 

For example: 

            

Maybe your child has the small waist of a size 2T but is tall and needs the length of a 3T or 4T. Without having to lose the correct fitting waist, the pants can be lengthened to fit specific heights. 

Maybe your child has a the larger waist of a size 5T but is shorter  and needs the length of a 3T or 4T. Without having to lose the correct fitting waist, the pants can be shortened to fit specific heights. 

2. Do you make matching sets of pajamas for holidays and trips?

Definitely! Our children's pajamas range from size Preemie to 14Y. Our adult male pajamas range from XS to 6XL. Our adult female pajamas range from XS to 5XL. Just make sure you pick your correct sizes and designs.

3. What types of fabrics are used in Sew Adorable LLC garments?

All garments are made of premium responsibly sourced CPSC Compliant fabrics including Cotton Spandex Blends, Rib Knits, and Woven Cotton. All fabrics used are free of lead. 

3. What are notions?

Notions are non fabric supplies needed to finish a garment or accessory. 

Example: suspender clips, buttons, alligator clips/ nylon bands, elastic

4. What notions are used in Sew Adorable LLC garments? 

Sew Adorable LLC uses quality notions to construct and complete garments. Such notions are lead free and CPSC compliant. 

5. How long does it take to ship my order after I place the initial order?

Since the majority of accessory and apparel items  regardless of size are handmade to order, please allow orders to be fulfilled: within 4 weeks (20 business days; does not include weekends or holidays)* of initial order placement. The fulfillment period does not include shipping time.

Although production and fulfillment will not always take the full 20 (business days, please do not worry. Your products are made to order as accurately and as quickly as possible.  The best shipping method/service is then selected after fulfillment. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once your order’s fulfillment period is over. The shipping confirmation email will give instructions on how to track your order. 

6. What is a turnaround-time (TAT)? 

A turnaround-time is how long it takes for your order(s) to be cut out and made. It is also known as the fulfillment period. Turn around time does not include shipping time. 

7. What is RTS?

RTS stands for Ready To Ship. Ready To Ship items are already made and tagged. These items to not have a turnaround time. They will be shipped within 5 business days. 

8. What is MTO? 
MTO stands for Made To Order. Made To Order items are custom made items that are made to suit the customer's needs. MTO items have a fulfillment period of 4 weeks (20 business days). These items are final sale items. 

 9. What are Terms and Conditions?

Terms and Conditions include the Terms of Service, as well as FAQ, Shipping Policy, Sizing Chart and Refund Policy. 

10. Where are you located and do you deliver locally?

Sew Adorable LLC is an online business based in Shreveport, Louisiana. We currently do not offer delivery. We only offer shipping.
